Microsoft have a holiday season gift for us all: daily discounts and free stuff to Xbox Live members all the way up to the New Year! This kicked off yesterday with a pair of 2010 glasses for your Avatar.
It seems that each deal is only available for one day so you can’t download these from your Xbox any more. However, it seems you can still download it from Xbox.com! Use the link here. This is for the US locale but seeing as it says already purchased for me – and I bought it from my Xbox in the UK – it should be world-wide. Update: they now cost 40MSP. They should be available for the rest of December but do you actually want to pay for them?
The glasses themselves look pretty stupid, but, if you are planning an avatar event on or around New Year’s they could be a fun addition to your avatar’s closet. I’m not sure how long these will be available, or if the link still works, so act fast if you’re hankering for free and limited-edition avatar swag.
